What is Uninsured Loss Recovery?
The recovery of losses which are not covered by your motor insurance policy and arising out of a non fault accident. For example – vehicle repair costs, policy excess, alternative vehicle hire charges, loss of use, storage/recovery, general inconvenience and personal injury compensation. It can also include losses incurred as a result of a collision with an uninsured or untraced driver.
How much does your service cost?
We offer an extremely competitive and flexible pricing structure designed to meet the client’s individual needs. This can be on a “pay as you go basis” where we simply charge a fixed percentage of any monies recovered on each claim, or alternatively at a flat rate fee per vehicle, payable monthly or annually.
To reduce costs we are considering opting for a higher excess or Third Party only cover. What can you do to help?
When you have had an accident which is not your fault, we are able to recover your uninsured losses from the third party responsible. It is imperative however that following an accident, drivers are instructed to obtain as much information about the third party as possible - registration number, photographs where possible and obtain the names and addresses of anyone who was at the scene of the accident who is prepared to provide a witness statement.
How quickly can you recover our repair costs?
We aim to recover your money within 90 days and are currently working to a recovery success rate in the region of 95%. (70% of claims are usually recovered within 70 days).
